The medal-winning athletes of the Hyderabad District Open Ice Figure Skating Championship, which was held at Himadri Ice Rink, Dehradun, were felicitated by Arvind Kumar Dwivedi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board.
Lauding the skating champions for bringing laurels to the region, Dwivedi emphasized the Cantonment Board’s unwavering commitment to supporting young sporting talent. The champions were trained under the expert guidance of former World Champion and Arjuna Awardee Anup Kumar Yama.
Dwivedi praised Yama’s invaluable contribution to nurturing winter sports in the region and expressed confidence that these athletes would continue to represent the nation on international platforms.
