B Sandeep and G Praneeth Kumar struck centuries to set up Income Tax’s 70-run win over Hyderabad Wanderers in the HCA B Division T20 League-Cum-Knock-Out Tournament in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Batting first, the strong Income Tax side ran up a massive 260 for six. Southpaw Sandeep was in a belligerent mood as he struck 11 fours and nine sixes in his 47-ball 111. He was ably supported by Praneeth who scored a 59-ball 102 with 11 fours and six sixes.
In reply, Hyderabad Wanderers fought valiantly but the target was always beyond their reach. They made 190 for six with Gandham Mahaveerdev making 94 of those runs.

Abhinav M missed out on a century but his knock set up Gouds XI’s 37-run win over Kosaraju. Abhinav made 90 in Gouds XI’s 193 for seven. In reply, Kosaraju were restricted to 156 for nine as J Chandra Bathula took three for 29.
In another match, K Aryan Reddy set up Green Turf’s thumping nine-wicket win over New Blues. Aryan Reddy claimed four for nine as New Blues were bowled out for 118. In reply, Green Turf made 119 for one with Nischal Reddy scoring an unbeaten 52 and Kushal Tiwari remaining not out on 59.
Charan Chowdary took four for 20 to help Hyderabad Union post a 20-run win over Manchester.
