Sydney Joseph and C Nikhil Yadav hammered centuries to set up Greenlands’ 288-run win over St Patrick’s in the HCA’s C Division (one-day) League Championship in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Batting first, Greenlands ran up a huge 440 in 48.2 overs as their batters ground the St Patrick’s attack to the dust. Syndey Joseph topscored with 125 off just 68 balls with 12 fours and nine sixes, while C Nikhil Yadav scored a 51-ball 109 with 17 hits to the fence and three over it.
In reply, G Enoch Daniel waged a lone battle as he lacked support from his fellow batters. St Patrick’s were bundled out for 152 with Enoch scoring 116 of those off 141 balls with 15 fours and two sixes.

Rahul Raina G and D Suraj Goud helped set up Navjeevan Friends’ seven-wicket win over Hyderabad District. Rahul took four for 18 and Surag bagged four for 16 as Hyderabad District were shot out for a lowly 48. Navjeevan Friends replied with 49 for three.

Uthkarsh Vinayak’s four-wicket haul set up Team A’s come-from-behind four-wicket win over Team B in the Under-23 Men’s Emerging Players Multi-Day Tournament.
After taking a narrow nine-run first innings lead, Team B were able to do better in this second innings. However, they could post only 175 on the board as Uthkarsh Vinayak took four for 27 to restrict the rival score. Shaik Samer made 53 for Team B.

Needing 184 for victory, Team A earnestly pursued the target with A Nikshith scoring an unbeaten 42. Team A made 185 for six to clinch the match.
