In a low-scoring game, Tanay Thyagarajan ripped Evergreen apart to set up Sporting XI’s five-wicket win with more than a day to spare in the fourth round of the HCA’s A Division (2-day) League Championship in Hyderabad on Monday.

In all the game lasted for only 36.3 overs. Batting first, Evergreen were spun out for a meagre 67 in 21.3 overs with Tanay at his destructive best. He finished with figures of 11-3-32-6.

In reply, Sporting XI too struggled but managed to reach 72 for five in 15 overs with Evergreen spinner Aniketh Reddy taking four for 31.
State Bank of India crashed to yet another loss as they were beaten by Balaaji by seven wickets with a day to spare. SBI were shot out for 118 and Balaaji responded with 122 for three.
Ronald Roy Rodrigues bagged six wickets but Union Bank of India (UBI) were not so happily placed against Combined District-1.
Rodrigues took six for six for 46 in 13.2 overs as Combined Districts were restricted to 226. Ganesh Gadugu hit 54 and Abdul Rafeay Bin Abdullah made 51. In reply, UBI were 66 for four and have an uphill task on the morrow.

Bhavesh Seth propped up Charminar with a century against Deccan Chronicle.

Bhavesh made 107 off 119 balls with 16 hits to the fence and one over it but Charminar could only post a modest 290 on the board. Yashveer Goud took five for 51 for Chronicle.
Rishab Baslas bagged five wickets to put EMCC in the driver’s seat against Jai Hanuman.

Baslas took five for 42 as Jai Hanuman were bowled out for 236. In reply, EMCC were 108 for four with A Avanish Rao batting on 56.
Arhaan Satwalekar hammered a century to help Cambridge XI post a healthy score against Central Excise.
Arhaan scored 161 off 219 balls with 19 fours as Cambridge XI made 386. Shashank Lokesh missed out on a century by six runs. Dhanush Karri took four for 76 for Central Excise.
Mickil Jaiswal scored an unbeaten century as MP Colts reached an imposing 344 four four against R Dayanand. Mickil was batting on 124 off 116 balls with 16 fours and a six.
