Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM), promoted by Procam International, steps into its third decade and celebrates a legacy that has redefined distance running in India. While signalling its continued commitment to creating impact, this legacy now moves forward – breaking barriers, embracing new generations of runners, inspiring healthier communities, strengthening the culture of giving, and bringing people together through the transformative power of running.

Registrations for the World Athletics Gold Label race commenced at 7 am on July 23, 2026 for both the physical and virtual races at https://vedantadelhihalfmarathon.procam.in/.

With a prize purse of $260,000, VDHM is one of the world’s most sought-after races for amateurs and Elites alike. The race will be flagged off from the prestigious, iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Ocotber 18, 20206 (Sunday) and wind its way back to JLNS after passing through some of the most iconic landmarks of Delhi.

Vedanta Group is a leading global producer of metals, oil and gas, critical minerals, power and technology. Its diversified portfolio enables industrial growth, strengthens energy security and advances technology across global value chains. Complementing its business operations, the Group drives meaningful social impact through the Anil Agarwal Foundation, with a ₹5,000 crore commitment across nutrition, healthcare, women and child development, animal welfare and sports. Now in its fifth year as title sponsor, Vedanta continues to champion mass participation sports, promoting healthier lifestyles and stronger communities.

“The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon is a celebration of purpose in action. Every step brings us together to embrace healthier lifestyles, build stronger communities, and move closer to our shared vision of #RunForZeroHunger. Let’s make every kilometer count towards a healthier, hunger-free India,” said Priya Agarwal Hebbar, chairperson, Hindustan Zinc Ltd, and non-executive director, Vedanta Ltd.

Associate sponsor, IDFC FIRST Bank continues its long-standing association with the event, reinforcing its commitment towards promoting health, community participation and active lifestyles.

“At IDFC FIRST Bank, we believe that true progress is measured not just by how far we go, but by how many lives we uplift along the way. As we launch the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2026, we are proud to continue supporting a platform that brings together the spirit of fitness, inclusion, and community participation. The marathon represents the power of collective action, inspiring individuals from all walks of life to come together in pursuit of healthier lifestyles, resilience, and a shared sense of purpose. Through this partnership, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and empowered society where growth and well-being go hand in hand,” said Shreepad Shende, chief marketing officer, IDFC FIRST Bank.

Dr Rashmi Singh, secretary, Department of Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi, said: “The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon goes beyond being a race by bringing multiple causes to the forefront and creating meaningful impact on the ground. When we speak about women and children, our focus must extend to healthy living, nutrition and addressing challenges such as stunting, undernutrition and anaemia. Initiatives like Nand Ghar demonstrate the power of collaboration in strengthening early childhood care and building healthier communities. A healthy nation requires healthy children, and efforts like the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, which unite institutions, organisations and citizens around a shared purpose, carry immense significance.”

“It is wonderful to see how the culture of running and fitness has evolved over the years, with people of all ages now preparing for events like the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon. From the Armed Forces’ perspective, such initiatives promote fitness and discipline while encouraging a more physically active nation. As participation continues to grow, it is equally important to educate runners about scientific preparation, proper training and hydration. I congratulate everyone associated with the event and assure our continued support for such meaningful initiatives,” Vice Admiral Atul Anand, additional secretary, Department of Military Affairs, said.
