G Prasanna Kumar and CH Chaitanya struck centuries while A Dwipad Naik and Ujwal Ganesh took five wickets apiece as Khammam Dist-1 mauled Oasis School (Ranga Reddy) by 399 runs in the HCA Under-16 Boys Inter-School & Colleges Knock-out Tournament in Hyderabad on Monday.
N Dwipad Naik
Batting first, Khammam Dist-1 put up a massive 443 for four in 34 overs with Prasanna Kumar scoring a 53-ball 162 with 17 fours and 13 sixes, while Chaitanya made an unbeaten 116 off 66 balls with 14 fours and a six.
In reply, Oasis School were shot out for a paltry 44 with Dwipad Naik taking five for 27 and Ujwal Ganesh bagging five for 42.
M Chiranjeevi scored an unbeaten century to power Pallavi Model School (Alwal) to a 112-run win over Suchitra Academy International School.
Ujwal Ganesh
Batting first, Pallavi Model School ran up 331 for four thanks to Chiranjeevi’s 151 off 147 balls with 13 fours. In reply, Suchitra Academy fought well but could only reach 219 despite Peddi Vivaan Reddy scoring 113 off 78 balls with 18 fours and a six. P Aarush took five for 36 for Pallavi.

Others to do well with the willow were P Adhrit Reddy who scored an unbeaten 150 off 112 with 21 fours, Monishwar Reddy who made 137 off 129 balls with 14 fours and two sixes, Rishith N Gujjari who scored 107 off 86 balls with 13 fours, and D Aarav who hit 114 off 62 balls with 14 fours and four sixes.
G Karthik
On the bowling front, G Karthik was the pick of the bowlers with a six for seven haul. Others to do well were Nakul Pokar (6/11), K Nikhil Reddy (6/12), N Sai Anurag Rathod (6/15), Nurhaan (5/13) and L Charan (5/54).
Brief scores: Adilabad Dist-1 147 in 36 overs (Yash Raj Singh 34, Ruhaan Verma 3/16) lost to HPS-Begumpet 147/2 in 21.5 overs (Aaryan Partani 41no, Ruhaan Verma 57no).
