B Yeshwanth bowled Bhimavaram Bulls to a thumping 104-run win over Simhadri Vizag Lions in the Andhra Premier League (APL) 2026 at the ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday evening.
Chasing 220 for victory, Simhadri Vizag Lions made a poor start as they lost opener KH Veera Reddy (0) with one on the board. Reddy was caught behind by wicketkeeper Revanth off PvSN Raju.
Things only got worse for the Lions as they lost wickets at regular intervals. VMVS Rakshanan (5) was caught by Raju off Girish Kumar to leave the Lions at 12 for two.

P Roshan Pawan hit a seven-ball 13 before he was trapped leg before by Yeshwant. This was Yeshwant’s first wicket.
In the next over, Yeshwant had the prize scalp of skipper Ricky Bhui (1) and then Munish Varma had opener N Himakar (15) caught by Hemanth to leave Simhadri Vizag Lions tottering at 41 for five.
Three balls later, Munish struck again as he got rid of M Dhanush (2) and the Lions were sinking deeper. K Maheep Kumar and T Vijay added 24 off 32 balls for the seventh wicket to help the Lions reach 75 before Vijay fell to Yeshwanth.
Maheep who topscored with 36 off 24 balls with four boundaries and a six was the eighth wicket to fall at 91. He was bowled by Bhuvaneswara.
Simhadri Vizag Lions were bowled out for 115 in 17.5 overs with Yeshwanth bagging five for 15 and Munish Varma taking two for 4.
Earlier, Bhimavaram Bulls, who were asked to bat first, also made a poor start as they lost opener and skipper M Hemanth Reddy (1) with just two on the board. But K Revanth Reddy and TV Sai Sravan added 64 for the second wicket off 31 balls to stabilize the innings. Sai Sravan was bowled by Vinay after making a 20-ball 39 with six fours and two sixes.
Revanth and M Ravi Kiran (13) added 21 before the latter fell to Himakar. However, Revanth found an able partner in B Satvik and the duo added 56 for the fourth wicket off 32 balls as the Bulls inched closer to the 150-run mark. Revanth, however, fell to Vinay after making 58 off 34 balls with seven fours and two sixes.
Satvik and M Dheeraj Kumar then added 42 off 21 balls as the Bulls piled on the runs. Satvik fell to Vijay after making 63 off 29 balls with eight mighty sixes and Dheeraj remained unbeaten on 22 off 10 balls with three sixes.
Bhimavaram Bulls made 219 for seven in their 20 overs. B Vinay Kumar took two for 34 and T Vijay got two for 52.
B Yeshwanth was named Player of the Match.
