Gold medallist Pravallika Narimala arrives to a warm welcome in Hyderabad

Pravallika Narimala received a warm welcome at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, on Wednesday afternoon on her arrival after winning the gold medal in the 4×400m Relay at the 1st Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships 2026 held in Ordos, China.

The reception was organized by TSWREIS – Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree & Junior College PDs & PETs Association, along with coaches, parents, and well-wishers. B E Stanley Jones, president, Telangana Athletics Association (TAA), was also warmly welcomed on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rama Laxman (chairman), along with Chander (general secretary), Harikishan (treasurer), and Shamsher Ali (organizing secretary), congratulated Pravallika for bringing immense pride to India and Telangana. They appreciated her remarkable achievement and wished her many more successes at the international level.

The association expressed confidence that Pravallika’s outstanding performance would inspire young athletes across Telangana to pursue excellence in sports.
