The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) invites entries from eligible schools and colleges for participation in the HCA Under-16 Inter-School & Inter-College Tournament for the 2026–27 season.
The tournament is being organised to provide young cricketers with a competitive platform and to promote the development of grassroots cricket through schools and colleges.
The tournament will accommodate a maximum of 120 teams. The final number of participating school and college teams shall be subject to the entries received and fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility and registration requirements.
Each participating school/college may register a maximum squad of 15 players.
The entry fee is ₹2,000 per school/college team. The entry fee shall be payable at the time of submission of the entry.
The entry fee shall be accepted only in cash at the time of submission of the entry. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
Entries will be accepted from 11 am on August 24, 2026, and will remain open until August 26, 2026, or until the maximum 120 team entries are received, whichever is earlier at HCA office in Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad.
Registration will be accepted strictly on a First Come, First Served basis. Each school/college must submit a maximum 15-player list on the official school/college Letterhead, containing all required player details and duly signed by the principal/head of the institution with the official school/college stamp/seal.
A maximum of 15 players may be submitted by each participating school/college. The school/college shall certify that all players listed are bona fide students of the respective institution and satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements.
Player registration will be conducted from August 24 to 30, 2026. Schools and colleges should complete the player registration process within the prescribed period.
Once player registration is submitted and accepted/approved, cancellation or changes shall not be permitted under the applicable tournament conditions.
All player registrations and supporting documents will be subject to verification by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) in accordance with the HCA’s three-year domicile eligibility requirements.
Schools and colleges are advised to ensure that all player information and supporting documents submitted are complete, accurate and valid.
Any registration found to be ineligible or supported by incorrect, incomplete or invalid documentation may be rejected in accordance with the applicable HCA regulations.
The age eligibility for the HCA Under-16 Inter-School & Inter-College Tournament 2026–27 shall be in accordance with the applicable BCCI age-group eligibility criteria for the 2026–27 season.
Under-16 boys should be born between 01.09.2010 and 31.08.2012. The above age eligibility shall be strictly followed.
The HCA Under-16 Inter-School & Inter-College Tournament 2026–27 is tentatively scheduled to commence from September 7, 2026.
The Hyderabad Cricket Association invites schools and colleges to participate enthusiastically in the tournament and provide their young cricketers with an opportunity to compete in organised cricket, says a press release.
