Former Hyderabad skipper Anirudh Singh has been appointed as head coach of the Hyderabad men’s senior team for the 2026-27 season. Another former player Bavanaka Sandeep has been named his deputy. Incidentally, both players are left-handed batters.
Alfred Absolem has been named as bowling coach of the senior team and Abhinav Kumar will be the fielding coach of the squad.
The Hyderabad Cricket Association, in a release on Wednesday announced the list of coaches for all age group teams.
DB Ravi Teja, who was with the senior men’s team last season, will now take up the responsibility of the Under-23 team. Ben Johnson has been appointed bowling coach, while Ronald Rodriques was named the fielding coach.

The Under-19 team will be handled by Abhijit Chatterjee and P Shashank Nag has been named the batting coach. Mohd Abdul Khader will assume responsibility as the fielding coach.
S Kiran Kumar of Union Bank of India has been named head coach of the Under-16 team. Mohd Musharaf Khan is the bowling coach, while Nitin Anthony is the fielding coach.
Anirudh Singh had coach the Hyderabad E-Champions, who won the inaugural HCA’s TG20 earlier this month. He had also coached the Chhattisgarh Ranji team and was awarded the Outstanding Coach of the Year for 2025 by the Chhattisgarh cricket board.

Your leadership, game sense, and commitment have shaped players, built confidence, and delivered results on the field. Thank you for guiding the team with vision, passion, and purpose,” the CSCS had posted on Instagram.
B Sandeep had coached the Hyderabad Under-19 team last year which went on to win the Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
