Aditya Javvaji hammered a century to set up Team A’s 97-run win over Team B in the HCA’s Under-19 men’s one-day selection matches in Hyderabad on Monday.
Batting first, Team A ran up a huge 314 for eight thanks to Aditya’s 55-ball 121 which contained 16 fours and seven sixes. N Aneesh made 52 and N Nitesh Naik remained unbeaten on 46. G Ishanth Reddy bagged three for 41.
In reply, Team B were restricted to 217 for nine with N Nitesh Naik taking three for 39.
B Sesha Sai Sharath
Shaik Rehaan Roshan struck a timely century to upstage the effort of Rohan Boppanna and help Team F score a six-wicket win over Team C.
Batting first, Team C made a competitive 257 for five with Rohan Bopppana scoring 101 off 99 balls with nine fours and six sixes. Arhaan Satwalekar made 64.
In reply, Team F made 259 for four with Rehaan Roshan scoring 104 off 94 balls with four fours and six sixes. Namann Dayala made 51.
Sanyasi Shiven missed out on a century but his effort was sufficient to help Team J score a 140-run win over Team K.
Sanyasi Shiven fell for 94 but helped Team J post 217. B Sesha Sai Sharath took five for 45 for Team K, who were shot out for a lowly 77 with SSVV Nanda Kumar and B Hishanth Prem Charan taking three wickets each.
Elsewhere, Team H scored a five-wicket win over Team G. Batting first, Team G made 258 for six with R Swaran Reddy making 81 and S Guru Vidhwan scoring 70. However, Team H replied with 262 for five as P Harshil Reddy made 72 and Jashwanth K scored 59.
Team L scored a narrow nine-run win over Team I. Arjun NC scored 55 for Team L, while Palle Prince made 57 for Team I. M Durga Ujwal took three for 27 and made 39 but his effort went in vain.
Team E scored a five-wicket win over Team D. Vikash Gupta scored an unbeaten 87, while B Mohit Sai made 86 and Samanyu got 50 as Team E made 289 for five.

Earlier, Team D got 288 for seven on the board thanks to Hari Om Singh’s unbeaten 69 and Vangety Preethesh’s 69.
