Kiron Dasiga Ramachandra scored a comfortable win over Riddhi Chakrabarthy to win the men’s 40+ singles title at the Bharat Science MT-200 Hyderabad 2026, ITF World Masters Tour Seniors Ranking Tennis Tournament. Kiron won the final in straight sets at 6-2, 6-0.
Kiron made it a golden double by clinching the men’s doubles title too. In the doubles’ final, Kiron and Arvind Kumar Narla defeated Ramesh Thota and Venkat Raman Vallabhaneni 6-2, 4-6, 12-10.
In fact, Kiron was hardly tested right from the quarterfinals onwards. He proved quite a handful for his opponents as he raked up impressive wins on way to the final.

In the final, Kiron was hardly made to sweat as he toyed with Riddhi. In the first set, Riddhi put up some fight but it was not sufficient to stop Kiron from romping to a 6-2 win.
Having lost the first set, Riddhi threw in the towel as Kiron was impressive and brutal in the set. Kiron blanked Riddhi as he runaway with the set and match at 6-0.
Kiron had it easy in the semis and quarters
In the semifinals, Kiron had an even easier outing against Jayanarayan KR as he cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

In the other semifinal, Riddhi Chakrabarty was lucky to win as top seed Eric Lawrence Norbert Fernandez retired in the second set. Eric had won the first set comfortably at 6-1 but Riddhi put up a brilliant fight in the second set. Riddhi was lead 5-4 when Eric had to retire.
In the quarterfinals, Eric had blanked Venkata Vijay Kumar Gadam 6-0, 6-0 and Kiron too registered a double bagel against Suryam Landa in his 6-0, 6-0 victory.
Jayanarayan had a relatively easy outing against Yohan Mandha as he romped to a 6-2, 6-2 win.
The toughest quarterfinal was played between Riddhi and Mahesh San. Riddhi managed to eke out a 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 victory in a thrilling three-set contest. After losing the first set 4-6, Riddhi managed to come back quickly. He won the second set at 6-3 and then took the decider 10-5 to book his semifinal berth against Eric.
The tournament was organized by GBR Cultural Association and Surya Tennis Foundation from March 7 to 12.
