M Amarnadh Goud bowled Delhi Public School (Nacharam) to a resounding 248-run win over Silver Oaks International School (Bachupally) in the HCA’s Under-16 Inter-school and college knock-out tournament in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Batting first, Delhi Public School made a competitive 280 with Sushen K scoring 83. In reply, Silver Oaks were shot out for a paltry 32 as Amarnadh Goud scalped eight for 11 in five overs.

Ashwith Uppala bowled Warangal District-2 to a thumping 10-wicket win over St Mark’s Boys Town High School (Jahanuma) in a low-scoring game. Ashwith grabbed five for two in 5.1 overs as St Mark’s Boys Town were skittled out for just 22 in 16.1 overs. In reply, Warangal made 23 for no loss in two overs.

G Parthiv Varma scored a century and Mokhsith Jannu turned in an all-round show to power Bhavans SA Junior College (Sainikpuri) to a 254-run win over Indus Universal School (Sainikpuri).
Batting first, Bhavans ran up 335 for three with Parthiv Varma scoring 135 off 120 balls with 11 fours and three sixes. Mokshith fell for 94. In reply, Indus were shot out for 81 with Parthiv taking three for 21 and Mokshith grabbing three for eight.

Jatin Sharma struck a century to help Hidayah Islamic International School (Mehdipatnam) score an eight-wicket win over Delhi Public School (Nadergul). DPS were bowled out for 190 with Mohd Shoeb taking four for 21. In reply, Hidayah made 191 for two with Jatin scoring a 54-ball 117 with 15 fours and five sixes.
G Prasanna Kumar scored a century to set up Khammam District-1’s 220-run win over Oakridge International School (Gachibowli). Prasanna made 109 off just 47 balls with 10 fours and nine sixes as Khammam ran up 293. In reply, Oakridge were bowled out for 73.

Aditya Gupta scored 108 off 94 balls with 18 boundaries to power Academic Heights Public School to a seven-wicket win over Chirec International School (Kondapur).
Neeraj Sai Garipally took five for five to set up Hyd School of Excellence’s (Rajendranagar) seven-wicket win over Pallavi Model School (Alwal).
Rayan Shaik took five for 20 to bowl Nalgonda District-1 to a 223-run win over Genesis School (Beeramguda). Eage Havish took five for 62 for the losers.
