Syed Imtiaz Ahmed helps Hyderabad Globe down Sporting 1-0 in final, lift CCOB Cup

Hyderabad Globe Football Club scored a hard-fought 1-0 win over Hyderabad Sporting thanks to Syed Imtiaz Ahmed to lay their hands on the CCOB Cup, an Under-21 Football Championship Organized by CCOB Football Association at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium in Hyderabad.

In a tough final, Hyderabad Globe managed to pip Hyderabad Sporting Club with a solitary strike by Syed Imtiaz Ahmed in the 55^th minute of play. Before that neither team was able to score as the defenders stood tall.

In the semifinals, Hyderabad Globe got the better of hosts CCOB in another hard-fought match. The all-important goal was struck by Saifullah in the dying minutes of the game.

In the other semifinal, Hyderabad Sporting Club defeated Abbas Union Football Club in the tie-breaker after both sides were locked 1-1 at regulation time.

In the quarterfinal, Hyderabad Globe FC had defeated Saidabad Football Club 5-0. Faizan Ahmed scored two goals, while Sham, Saifullah and Omer Farooq got one goal each.
