V Chamundeswaranath, BCCI Apex Council member and former Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) secretary, urged corporate companies to step forward and help bridge financial gaps, fund grassroots infrastructure, and provide reliable career safety nets for young cricketers across India.
He commended Truzon Solar for its significant efforts in promoting sports development in the country, alongside cricket.
A grand felicitation ceremony was held on Saturday at the Taj Deccan, Hyderabad, for the ‘Hyderabad E-Champions’ team which emerged victorious in the TG 2026 Cricket Tournament, organized for the first time in Telangana with the support of the BCCI.
Representatives from Truzon Solar honored and congratulated the players of the Hyderabad team, who clinched the title by securing 10 victories out of 11 matches played in the tournament. Company representatives announced that Truzon Solar is serving as the title sponsor for the Hyderabad team.

The event was attended by Chamundeswarnath, Truzon Solar Power managing director Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, CEO Jakkula Srinivas, Hyderabad E-Champions captain Abhijit Reddy, vice-captain Ajay Dev Goud along with team members and Truzon Solar representatives. Speaking on the occasion, Chamundeswaranath congratulated the Hyderabad team players for their outstanding performance and for winning the title in the TG20 tournament.
He noted that prominent cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma are investors in Truzon Solar. He mentioned that the company is keen on promoting other sports in the future, beyond just cricket. He revealed that the company has decided to continue sponsoring the Hyderabad team for another three years.
He emphasized the need to contribute further to the development of the sports sector by encouraging young athletes and unearthing talent from rural areas.

He stated that the company is already supporting the development of cricket and will continue to provide further encouragement to sports in the future. He added that the company is ready to identify talented young athletes from the Telugu states and provide the necessary support for their growth.
He stated that they would extend as much support as possible to talented young individuals aspiring to excel in sports if they reached out to them. He also emphasized that their organization’s goal is to create more opportunities for young sporting talent in Telangana and the other Telugu state.
