On a day where the bowlers called the shots, Siddhardha C was the lone batter to reach the three-figure mark in the HCA’s C Division (one-day) League Championship in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Siddhardha’s ton went in vain as Sacred Heart scored a five-wicket win over New Stars.

Batting first, New Stars made a modest 184 for nine despite Siddhardha scoring 120 off 132 balls with 21 fours. Patrick Anthony Lazarus took three for 37.

In reply, Sacred Heart made 85 for five with Patrick Anthony getting 36 and James Anthony scoring 60.
Prateik Rajaneni took five wickets but his effort went in vain as Azad scored a 39-run win over Manikumar.
Batting first, Azad scored 201 for eight with Prateik taking five for 38. However, Manikumar could reach 162 despite V Prabhath scoring an unbeaten 51. PSN Rama Charan took four for 44 for the winners.
K Karthikeya took five wickets but it was not sufficient to prevent Adams XI from crashing to a 48-run loss to Lords.
Lords made 224 with Faheem Syed scoring 71 and Aarush Vora making 58. K Karthikeya took five for 60.

In reply, Adams XI were restricted to 176 for eight despite half-centuries from T Viren Reddy (60) and Ujwal Tej Rupavath (55).
K Pradeep Kumar too took five wickets but his effort too was in vain as Lok Nayak lost to Shalimar by a narrow five runs.
Pradeep claimed five for 36 as Shalimar CC were bowled out for 143. However, Lok Nayak could only reach 38.
