It was supposed to be a 90-overs-a-side game but the tie between Jai Hanuman and Union Bank of India (UBI) lasted only 64.5 overs as Jai Hanuman launched their campaign with a resounding seven-wicket win even as the HCA A Division (2-day) League kicked off on Monday.

UBI, the erstwhile Andhra Bank team which was a superpower in the HCA leagues, rolled over without much fight. Batting first, the bankmen lasted just 35 overs while scoring a modest 200. Rohit Rayudu did the damage with a five for three haul in four overs out of which two were maidens.
