The 45th birthday of former Team India captain and former Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was celebrated in a meaningful way in Hyderabad with a series of social service initiatives organized by the Telugu MSDians Fans Club.
A mega blood donation camp was conducted at Chiranjeevi Blood Bank, Jubilee Hills, with the support of COO R Swamy Naidu, where nearly 500 volunteers donated blood.
As part of the celebrations, members of the club also visited an orphanage in Secunderabad and distributed sports equipment and essential kitchen supplies to the children.
A plantation drive was also organized at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal to promote environmental awareness. TG20 Governing Council chairman V Agam Rao, member C Sanjeev Reddy and K Bharani, head of operations, participated in the programme. They planted saplings and appreciated the Telugu MSDians team for celebrating Dhoni’s birthday through community service.
Speaking on the occasion, Telugu MSDians Fans Club founder president Praveen Balusu said celebrating MS Dhoni’s birthday through service activities reflects the values of leadership, humility and social responsibility that he inspires, adding that they will continue to organize such initiatives in the future.
The event was organised by Telugu MSDians Fans Club founder president Praveen Balusu, vice president S S B Sanjay, general secretary Ashok, treasurer Srikanth, joint secretary Wilson, and members Kishore, Naveendra, Rajesh, Charan, Manish, Pawan, Manohar and Praneeth, among others.
