Hyderabad’s Vutkuri Yashveer Goud has been named in the India men’s Under-19 One-day squad for upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Junior Cricket Committee has picked the India men’s Under-19 squads for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. The tour comprises three One-Day and two Multi-Day matches. The tour will start on July 4, 2026.
Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan has been named captain for both the squads. Lakshya Raichandani has been made the vice-captain for both the teams.
Yashveer Goud was picked up by Hyderabad E Champions for Rs 3 lakh in the recently held TG20 player auction.

Yashveer had played for Imperial CC for three years when they were in the C and B Division League. He was with Imperial till 2024 but moved to Deccan Chronicle so that he could play in the A Division and be in contention for the state teams.
“Yashveer comes from a poor family. I was able to help him out in furthering his cricket career. He is a hardworking lad and I wish him all the best. May God bless him with a successful career ahead,” said Ravi Reddy of Imperial Cricket Club.
