M Toshith Yadav led a disciplined Amaravathi Royals bowling attack as they carved out a six-wicket win over Tungabhadra Warriors in the GMR Andhra Premier League 2026 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday afternoon.
Amaravathi Royals’ skipper Y Sandeep won the toss and had not hesitation in inviting Tungabhadra Warriors to bat first. It turned out to be a very good decision as Tungabhadra Warriors were all at sea against the Amaravathi Royals bowling attack.
Tungabhadra Warriors failed to last their quota of overs and were bowled out for 105 in 15.5 overs. KSS Jayanth topscored for the Warriors with a 19-ball 26 which contained three fours and a six. K Anand Josiah made a 16-ball 24 with two fours and a six, while the rest of the batters failed to counter the Amaravathi bowlers.
Toshith finished with figures of three for 23 in four overs, while KV Sasikanth took two for 19 and G Yeswanth claimed two for 34.
In reply, Amaravathi made 108 for four in just 11 overs as SV Rahul struck six fours and a six in his 21-ball 40. Skipper Sandeep made a 13-ball 30 with four boundaries and two sixes.
M Toshith Yadav was adjudged Player of the Match.
