RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC have set out a long-term vision for golf in the capital: a year-round mentorship pathway that will identify young talent from across Delhi and develop it into the next generation of Blue Bulls. The franchise’s four-player squad is Shiv Kapur, Gaurav Ghei, Chiragh Kumar and Aryan Roopa Anand. The team is now preparing for its AM Green IGPL Season 2 campaign and a marquee home event at Qutab Golf Course later this month.
The vision was shared at the franchise’s event at Qutab Golf Course on Wednesday, where the team unveiled its official playing jersey. Ganesh Sarnala, director, RVR Projects Pvt Ltd, attended with captain Shiv Kapur, mentor and player Gaurav Ghei, young golfers Chiragh Kumar and Aryan Roopa Anand.
RVR Projects Pvt Ltd, a Hyderabad-headquartered infrastructure company makes its entry into golf by backing the national capital’s IGPL franchise.
Explaining the thinking behind the initiative, Shiv Kapur said: “Gaurav and Chiragh are very highly reputed golf coaches in India. Our idea was to call this the Little Angels programme, where we would conduct clinics and have a year-round programme for these kids, rather than just doing a one-off clinic. There would be a progression, whether it’s a scholarship programme or becoming part of the Blue Bulls team, and we would nurture them into the future.”

The squad combines experience with emerging talent. Shiv Kapur is the 2002 Asian Games gold medallist, has four wins in Asia and leads the team as captain. Three-time Asian Tour winner Gaurav Ghei serves as both mentor and player. Chiragh Kumar and young golfer Aryan Roopa Anand complete a roster built to compete at the top of the league. Kapur and Ghei also front the league’s Golf Growth Initiative, which runs with the Indian Golf Union, the Women’s Golf Association of India, PGA India and The Golf Foundation.
Gaurav Ghei, who is also the Blue Bulls’ mentor, spoke about the impact the league has already had on young professionals. Golfing legend Gaurav Ghei said: “When the IGPL was launched last year, one of the biggest things it did for young golfers was give them financial freedom. Because of the no-cut format, you were making money every time you played. There’s no easy money involved, and you still have to work really hard to make your buck. But it gave them the freedom to decide whether they wanted to go and play Qualifying School for the Asian Tour, the DP World Tour or wherever else. Golf is a very expensive sport, and that freedom gave them the space to learn, which is very, very necessary when you’re starting out.”
Delhi’s golf fans will get to see the RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC on home turf when Qutab Golf Course hosts the AM Green IGPL Invitational 2026, from September 29 to October 1, 2026. It is one of nine events in the second half of the Season 2 calendar, which spans the UAE and India.
Shiv Kapur also added on how the pathway goes beyond coaching. He said; “It’s more of a mentorship programme than a pure coaching programme. The idea is to start identifying kids from Delhi who have potential, irrespective of the backgrounds they come from, mentor them, and build them up into future Blue Bulls.”
The franchise also has several commitments off the course. Its Junior Programme will give children in Delhi access to golf and professional coaching. Birdies for the Bulls is the team’s social-impact initiative, and a season-linked tree-plantation drive will run with partner Greenpanel.
