Harshavardhan slams five in Rainbow’s 7-0 win over Siddipet, Sreenidhi down Brawlers 4-2

Harshavardhan hammered five goals to power Rainbow Football Club to a thumping 7-0 win over Siddipet and Sreenidhi Deccan Football Club scored a 4-2 win over Brawlers Football Club in the Telangana Football Association’s (TFA) Telangana Under-15 Youth League at Sreenidhi Deccan Arena in Hyderabad on Saturday.

Rainbow Football Club got off the blocks quickly as Eshwar struck in the third minute of the game. There was a lull for the next 20 minutes before Harshavardhan breached the Siddipet citadel multiple times.

Harshavardhan struck in the 23^rd, 25^th and 27^th minutes to complete his hat-trick. He went on to score two more goals in the 45^th and 60^th minutes of the game. Vineet got his name on the record sheet by scoring in the 53^rd minute.

In the other match, Sreenidhi Deccan Football Club scored a 4-2 win over Brawlers Football Club thanks to a brace from the boots of Arnav Kumar.

Arnav opened the scoring in the 8^th minute of the game and then Pechimayum struck in the 16^th minute. Ashoberol then made it 3-0 in favour of Sreenidhi in the 27^th minute.

The teams went into the break with Sreenidhi leading 3-0. After resumption, Brawlers fought back to reduce the margin. Musharaf scored in the 49^th minute and Janardhan Singh struck in the 60^th minute to make it 2-3.

However, Arnav scored in the 61^st minute to settle the equation in favour of Sreenidhi Deccan.

Results: Rainbow FC 7 (Eshwar 3^rd min, Harshavardhan 23rd, 25th, 27th, 45^th, 60^th min, Vineet 53^rd min) beat Siddipet 0.

Sreenidhi Deccan FC 4 (Arnav Kumar 8^th min, 61^st min, Pechimayum 16^th min, Ashoberol 27^th min) beat Brawlers FC 2 (Musharaf 49^th min, Janardhan Singh 60^th min).
