N Pavani Sarayu and Yagna Sai M bagged bronze medals as Andhra Pradesh swimmers continued their impressive medal-winning campaign at the 52nd Junior National Aquatics Championships 2026, being held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from August 18 to 23.

Andhra Pradesh swimmer N Pavani Sarayu delivered another outstanding performance in the Girls Group 1A (Under-18) 200M Individual Medley, winning the bronze medal with an impressive timing of 2:30.68. Thanya Shadakshari of Karnataka won the gold medal, while Dayanitha Sankar of Tamil Nadu secured the silver medal.
Adding another medal to Andhra Pradesh’s tally, Yagna Sai M won the bronze medal in the Boys Group 1B 1500M Freestyle, clocking an impressive 16:56.51.

With this performance, Yagna Sai has now secured one Silver and one bronze medal at the championship, further highlighting his strong showing at the national level.
The achievements of Yagna Sai M and N Pavani Sarayu were appreciated and lauded by K Ravikanth, chairman; M Obul Reddy, president; and Mohan Venkat Ram, secretary of APAAA, along with members of the Krishna District Aquatic Association (KDAA) and NTR District Swimming Association (NTRDSA).
The associations congratulated both swimmers on their outstanding performances and appreciated their hard work, dedication and commitment. They also wished them continued success in their remaining events and at the national and international level.
