Andhra Pradesh swimmers N Pavani Sarayu and Pushpahas Murari Sunnam delivered impressive performances at the 52nd Junior National Aquatics Championships 2026 being held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from August 18 to 23, 2026.

N Pavani Sarayu, representing Andhra Pradesh in the Girls Group 1A 400M Individual Medley, won the bronze medal with an impressive timing of 5:19.31.
Pushpahas Murari Sunnam secured the bronze medal in the Boys Group 1B 100M Backstroke, clocking 0:59.14.
Both swimmers showcased excellent performances at the prestigious national-level championship and brought laurels to Andhra Pradesh through their outstanding achievements.
N Pavani Sarayu and Pushpahas Murari Sunnam were congratulated for their achievements by K Ravikanth, chairman; M Obul Reddy, president; and Mohan Venkat Ram, secretary of APAAA, along with the members of Krishna District Aquatic Association (KDAA) and NTR District Swimming Association (NTRDSA).
The associations expressed their appreciation for the swimmers’ hard work and wished them continued success in the remaining competitions.
