Income Tax cruised to a comfortable five-wicket win over Deccan Arsenals with a day to spare in the HCA’s B Division (2-day) League Championship on Monday. The match was over in 69.3 overs as Income Tax’s Devendar Reddy stole the show.
Batting first, Deccan Arsenals were bowled out for 137 with Devendar bagging four for 39. In reply, Income Tax made 138 for five with Shahzeb Khan remaining not out on 59.

Rahul Kumar bagged five for 62 as Beema were shot out for 133 and Vijay Hanuman rattled off those runs in 19.4 overs losing just two wickets. Sai Raj made an unbeaten 79.

M Durga Ujwal slammed a double century to put Sri Chakra in the driver’s seat. Ujwal made 200 off just 36 balls with 23 fours and eight sixes as Sri Chakra ran up 454. Aaryan Rath took six for 86 for Raju CC, who were 37 for one at stumps.
Rohan slammed the second double century of the day to put Hyderabad Titans on top. Rohan made 204 off 167 balls with 27 fours and four sixes as Titans ran up 436 for eight against Ensconse.
