Telangana swimmers Shivani Karra and Nithya Sagi to represent India at Bangkok Asian meet

Telangana swimmers Shivani Karra and Nithya Sagi have been selected to represent India at the 12^th Asian Age Group Championships 2026 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Telangana Swimming Association extended its congratulations to Shivani Karra and Nithya Sagi on their outstanding achievement. “This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and consistent excellence in the sport of swimming. Their selection to the Indian swimming team is a matter of immense pride for Telangana and an inspiration to aspiring swimmers across the state,” says a release from the Telangana Swimming Association.

“We wish Shivani and Nithya the very best and are confident they will represent India with distinction on the international stage. Best wishes for a successful championship,” adds the release.
