Week-long workshop on Physical Education and Sports Science inaugurated at Osmania

The Faculty of Education and the Department of Physical Education of Osmania University are organising a faculty development programme (workshop) at the Conference Hall, School of Education, University College of Education, Osmania University.

It is a week-long workshop from March 4 to 10 on Physical Education and Sports Science. This workshop is meant to update the knowledge of the participants in the field of Physical Education.

Prof Kumar Molugaram, vice chancellor, Osmania University, inaugurated the workshop on Wednesday. Prof Usha S Nair, former officiating vice chancellor, National Sports University, delivered the keynote address on ‘Female Athletes and Health and Wellness’.

Dr Chennakeshavulu spoke about ‘Nutrition for Athletes’.

The workshop is being attended by teachers from colleges and universities and Ph D scholars.
