Vanisha Surineni delivered an outstanding performance at the AWPC World Powerlifting Championship 2026 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The Indian powerlifter showcased exceptional strength, determination, and competitive spirit by participating in multiple events under the Women’s Teen-2 (60 kg) category, securing three gold medals.
In the highly competitive Women’s Teen-2 (60 kg) SBD Event (Squat, Bench Press & Deadlift), Vanisha displayed remarkable all-round strength and lifted a combined total of 320Kg, earning the gold medal and securing the top position for India.
Continuing her dominance, Vanisha competed in the Women’s Teen-2 (60 Kg) Only Deadlift Event, where she pulled an impressive 150kg, once again claiming the Gold Medal and establishing herself among the strongest young powerlifters in the championship.
Vanisha’s success story was completed in the Women’s Teen-2 (60 Kg) Only Bench Press Event, where she successfully lifted 40 kg to finish in first place, earning her third gold medal of the championship.
