India openers Aaron George and Vaibhav Suryavanshi buried South Africa under a deluge of runs as they scored a runaway 233-run win in the third and final Youth ODI at Willowmoore Park in Benoni on Wednesday.
The India Under-19 side completed a comprehensive 3-0 series sweep with Vaibhav Suryavanshi leading from the front. The skipper not only won the Player of the Match award but also bagged the Player for the Series award for his explosive batting right through the series.
On Wednesday, South Africa won the toss and asked India to bat first. Aaron and Vaibhav grabbed the opportunity with both hands and made their rivals pay heavily for the decision.
Vaibhav leads from the front
The duo ran up 227 off just 155 balls with the aggressive Vaibhav doing the bulk of the scoring but Aaron was not left behind. Vaibhav contributed a 74-ball 127 and Aaron made 93 off 81 balls. The India skipper struck nine fours and 10 sixes before his departure.

Aaron George scored a 106-ball 118 with 16 fours to give India a solid start
Hyderabad’s Aaron went on to score 118 off 106 balls with 16 fours before falling with the score reading 279. Thereafter, India lost steam as wickets fell at regular interval. Mohamed Enaan (28) and Henil Patel (19) added 58 off 40 balls for the unbroken eighth wicket to help India post 393 for seven.
The South African batters fell like a house of cards as Kishan Kumar Singh ran riot. He took three wickets, and Henil Patel took one as South Africa were reduced to 15 for four. Thereafter, it was only a matter of time. Daniel Bosman (40), Paul James (41) and Corne Botha (36 no) only delayed the inevitable. South Africa were bowled out for 160 in 35 overs with Kishan taking three for 15 and Enaan claiming two for 36.
