The fifth edition of the TATA Women’s Premier League will be held in Vadodara and Mumbai from January 14 to February 7, 2027.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the fifth edition of the TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL). The tournament will be staged across Vadodara and Mumbai, with 11 matches scheduled at each venue.

The new season will get underway in Vadodara on January 14, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) taking on former champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the opening fixture. The Vadodara leg will run until January 24, featuring 11 matches as the five teams begin their campaign in the race for the title.

The action will then shift to Mumbai, where the Cricket Club of India’s Brabourne Stadium will host the remaining 11 matches from January 26. The league stage will continue until February 3, setting up the contest for a place in the Playoffs.

The race for the title will intensify with the Eliminator on February 5, when the teams finishing second and third on the points table will compete for a place in the Final. The team topping the league standings will qualify directly for the title clash, scheduled for February 7, at the Brabourne Stadium.

All 22 matches of the TATA WPL 2027, including the Playoffs, will begin at 7:30 pm (IST). With the five franchises set to compete across two venues, the fifth edition promises another exciting contest for the coveted TATA WPL title.
