Thakshil Erroju slammed a century and then took four wickets to steer Karimnagar to a 157-run win over Adilabad in the HCA’s Under-19 Inter-District One-day Tournament on Monday.
Batting first, Thakshil scored an unbeaten 186 off just 122 balls with 16 fours and nine sixes. He was ably supported by T Ruthwik who missed a century by six runs. Thakshil then returned to take four for 43 as Adilabad were bowled out for 174. Ashok too took four for 21. J Avinash topscored for Adilabad with 66.
Abdul Rafeay Bin Abdullah’s century went in vain as Mahbubnagar went down to Medak by nine runs.
Batting first, Medak made 253 for five in 43 overs with R Ruthwik scoring 95. B Hishanth made 64 and K Vignesh an unbeaten 38.
In reply, Mahbubnagar fought well with Abdullah scoring 168 off 141 balls with 25 fours and a six. Varshit Reddy made 39 but the others failed to come to the party as Mahbubnagar were restricted to 244 for eight in 43 overs.
K Jashwant’s century helped Nalgonda record a 162-run win over Khammam.
Nalgonda, batting first, ran up a huge 316 in 45 overs with Jashwant scoring 143 off 108 balls with 17 fours and five sixes. In reply, Khammam were bowled out for 154 in 31.3 overs.
Mandi Pujith bagged six wickets to set up Warangal’s five-wicket win over Nizamabad. Pujith finished with figures of six for 14 in 6.1 overs as Nizamabad were skittled out for 117. In reply, Warangal made 118 for five.

Keerthana bags four, helps Hyd win by 15 runs
Keerthana Bandela took four wickets to help Hyderabad post a 15-run win over Chandigarh in the Under-19 B team practice match in Chandigarh on Monday.
Batting first, Hyderabad made 201 for nine in 35 overs with Ananya Yadav scoring 54 and B Yamuna making 32. Aahan Vaid took three for 30 for Chandigarh.
In reply, Chandigarh fell for 186 as Keerthana took four for 24. Raisha Manchanda made 68.
