Sunshine scored a three-wicket win over Mahesh to reach the semifinals of the HCA’s C Division (one-day) League Championship.
In the quarterfinals, Mahesh, batting first, made 192 for nine with AS Sekhar scoring 51 and Jasti Randheer making 54. M Anjanyulu and JLN Mehar Prasad took three wickets apiece.
In reply, Sunshine made 194 for seven with Mehar Prasad scoring an unbeaten 37. P Avinash made 38 and Vedant Yadav 33. K B Vinay Kumar took three for 42 for the losers.

Dakshdeep, Mahaprasada, Laxman, Harshith shine
M Dakshdeep and Mahaprasada struck century to help Team C reach 377 against Team A in the U-14 probables tournament. Dakshdeep scored a 119-ball 110 with 18 fours and Mahaprasada made 116 off 168 balls with 19 fours. At stumps on Day one, Team A were 38 for no loss.
In another match, D Laxman Roy took five for 33 to restrict Team J to 178. In reply, Team I made 117 for two at stumps. Ch Ritesh Reddy was batting on 55.
Elswhere, B Harshith missed out on a century by two runs but helped Team E made 367 for seven. Team D were 69 for one at stumps.

Khammam thump Warangal by nine wickets
Khammam scored a thumping nine-wicket victory over Warangal in the Kaka Venkataswamy Memorial Telangana Inter-District T20 League Phase ll at Mahabubnagar on Monday.
Electing to bat, Warangal could manage 111 for seven in their 20 overs with Mahesh Choudhary (3/6) and Vishal Yadav (3/19) doing the most damage. In reply, Khammam made 112 for one in just 10.4 overs with Vishal Yadav remaining unbeaten on 71 and Harshil Reddy scoring 35 not out.

Shanvi to lead U-15 women’s team
P Shanvi will continue to lead the HCA’s Under-15 women’s team in the knock-out matches of the BCCI Women’s Under-15 One-day Trophy to be held in Puducherry from January 14.

Basvaraju to head Governing Council for Telangana T20 League
HCA joint secretary Basvaraju will head the Governing Council for the Telangana T20 League to be held soon. The seven-member council will look into the Telangana T20 League affairs. An HCA release says that the much-anticipated Telangana T20 League will captivate cricket fans as it brings together top talent, emerging players, and electrifying action in a celebration of the state’s rich cricketing culture. The league aims to provide a competitive platform for young and professional cricketers while delivering high-quality entertainment to fans across Telangana and beyond.
