PDs & PETs association urges officials to solve long-pending promotion issues of PDs

The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree & Junior Colleges Physical Directors (PDs) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) Association has urged that the long-pending promotion issues of Physical Directors be placed in the 3rd Board of Governors Meeting of TSWREIS.

The Association stated that PDs and PETs have been contributing significantly to sports development and bringing recognition to TSWREIS institutions at various levels. However, despite their qualifications and experience, they are not being considered for promotion as principals, says a released issued by Dr Rama Laxman, chairman.

The Association also demanded immediate implementation of promotions from PD Grade-II to Grade-I, which have been pending for a long time.

The Association appealed to the authorities to consider eligible PDs for promotion as principals and to ensure that the issue is discussed and resolved in the 3rd Board of Governors Meeting.
