Batting first, Savage Strikers were propped by Yegnasri’s brilliant 65 and Akki’s 48. Ananya Toomu chipped in with a useful 24 as Savage Strikers put up 263 on the board. Jazmine Gill took two for 31 and Deepshika bagged two for 38 as MNCA Girls put up a decent show with the cherry.
In reply, MNCA Girls put up a good fight and gave Savage Strikers a run for their money. Akshaya Nandigama topscored with 55 and Jazmine Gill, backed her good show with the ball, struck 45. Deepshika too scored 44 to go with her bowling performance. But Yegnasri had other ideas as her six-wicket haul helped Savage Strikers win by a close margin. Yegnasri finished with figures of six for 47 in her 10 overs.
