Sai Vikas Reddy smashed an unbeaten double century to put Team B in the driver’s seat against Team C in the HCA Senior Men’s Super League on Tuesday.
Batting first, Team D went on to make 358 for three at stumps on the first day of play. Sai Vikas Reddy was batting on a magnificent 241 off 281 balls with 24 fours and 13 sies. He was ably supported by Aryan Krishna who made 64.
S Loknath Naik hit a century to help Team D reach 348 against Team A. Loknath Naik made 130 off 161 balls with 13 fours and five sixes. G Rahul Singh contributed a useful 54.
Shanmuka Ashwin took four for 65 to restrict Team F to 226 despite A Prateek Reddy scoring 69 and A Varun Goud making 58.
In reply, Team H were in a spot of bother at 26 for four when stumps were drawn.
T Ravi Teja and G Aniketh Reddy hit half-centuries to prop up Team G against Team E.

Batting first, Team G were in a spot of bother as they were reduced to 133 for six before Ravi Teja and Aniketh Reddy rescued the team from dire straits. They added 127 for the seventh wicket off 187 balls.
Aniketh Reddy made 69 and T Ravi Teja was batting on 71 as Team G reached 281 for eight at stumps.
