Rowan Damming continued his good run of form with a second consecutive PSA Squash Tour title, beating Mohamed Gohar to win the BricoMarche Pestka Poznań Open Challenger Tour $9000 2026.

The young Dutchman, a former world junior champion, came into the event having lifted the trophy in the Amsterdam Challenger on home soil at the end of January, and started his quest for glory here in Poland with a 3-0 win over Leo Chung.

A 62-minute 3-2 win over Chi Him Wong followed, before another straight-games success over Bailey Malik sent him into the final.

There, he went head-to-head with seventh seed Gohar, who had beaten top seed Ameeshenraj Chandaran in an 80-minute duel on quarter-finals day, before knocking out fourth seed Brice Nicolas in the final four.

The opening game was a back-and-forth affair which saw both players put streaks of point together, but it was Gohar who came out on top in the end, closing it out 11-7.

Damming hit back to level at 1-1 but found himself trailing again after losing 17-minute third, 11-7, with Gohar winning four points in a row to close it out.

But from there, Damming assumed control of proceedings, racing through a nine-minute fourth game for the loss of only four points to send the match to a decider.

He then took an early 2-0 lead in that fifth game, a lead he would never relinquish, closing out victory with an 11-5 success to secure his 10th PSA Tour title.

Breanne, Jared claim titles at Edinburgh Open

Jared Carter and Breanne Flynn both won their second Tour titles with success at The Edinburgh Open in Scotland, beating Jack Mitterer and Yu Jie Chen respectively on finals day.

Breanne Flynn

Breanne Flynn defeated Malaysian Yu Jie Chen in the final of the Edinburgh Open in Scotland

Irish No.2 Flynn, who was narrowly beaten by Hannah Craig in the Irish nationals recently, was the No.2 seed in the women’s draw for this event and put in a pair of accomplished performances to beat Robyn McAlpine and Ana Munos in her first two matches.

A 3-1 victory over Wales’ Ellie Breach followed, and that would end up being the only match in which she’d lose a game all week, as she followed it up with a dominant display over unseeded Malaysian, Chen, in the final, winning 11-8, 11-3, 11-4.

That result preceded victory for Carter in the men’s event, as he fought back from a game down to beat Mitterer 3-1. Carter, who had played only five games on his way to the semifinals after beating Andrew Glen 3-0 and then seeing Shamiel Haeyzad retire at 2-0 down, was pushed all the way in the last four by John Meehan, needing all five games after being bageled in game four.

But there was no such jeopardy on finals day, even after losing game one, as the No.2 seed closed out victory in four games to secure his second Tour title.
