Renova Masters Super Cricket League (MSL), a five-day league will commence on October 7 at Prime Arena on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Seven teams, KLR Transformers, Maa Spaces, Raging Bulls, Juper LED Bullets, Suncrest Warriors, Terminus and Reet Mavericks, will compete in the tournament. The MSL final will be played on October 11.
The league will be conducted by the Masters Cricket Association of Hyderabad (MCAH) which has been launched to provide cricket enthusiasts and former aspiring cricketers, who could not pursue the sport professionally and have since settled in various fields, an opportunity to showcase their cricketing talent.

The announcement of the MCAH office-bearers and the unveiling of the Renova Masters Super Cricket League (MSL) trophy were held in a grand manner on at SLN Terminus, Marriott, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Film actor Ali formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
MCAH president SP Reddy introduced the office-bearers of the association. Upender Reddy will serve as vice-president, Sunil Reddy as secretary, Guvvala Balaraju as joint secretary and S Rambabu as treasurer. The Executive Committee members are Ramana, Rakesh, Pavan and Sunny. The MCAH jersey and logo were also unveiled on the occasion.
MSL Trophy Unveiled
Speaking at the event, Guvvala Balaraju said MCAH had brought together prominent personalities from the corporate, cricket, film and other sectors on a common platform. “The common DNA that unites all of us is cricket. The journey that has begun under the MCAH banner should be taken to the international level with the collective efforts of all members. We aspire to take the MSL beyond Hyderabad and eventually provide a platform for matches at international venues,” he said.

HCA joint secretary T Basavaraju and TG20 chairman V Agam Rao assured the association of their full support and cooperation for the development of cricket, both personally and through HCA. They also wished all the participating players the very best for the league. Film actors Ashwin, Kayyum and others graced the event.
Later, film actor Ali unveiled the trophy of the Renova Masters Super Cricket League (MSL).
