Veeravalli Joshitha clinched the gold medal in the Under-19 Compound category at the CBSE South Zone-1 Archery Championship held at the Kurnool Ridge School from August 23 to 25, 2026.

Joshitha, who is a student of Maharishi Vidya Mandir in Kondapur, Hyderabad, scored 677 out of 720 points to win the yellow medal. D Sadhana who scored 676 came in second, while Kanishka V, who got 672 points, was third.
