Veeravalli Joshitha won a gold and a bronze medal in the Under-19 compound archery at the CBSE Girls National Archery Championship 2026–27 at Delhi Public School, Panipat, Haryana.
Joshitha, a Class XI student at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kondapur, Hyderabad, clinched gold the Elimination round by scoring 145 out of 150 points and took home a bronze in the Qualification round by scoring 681 points out of 720.

Joshitha secured the third place in the Qualification round behind Sadhana D (689/720) and Kanishka V (682/720). She topped the Elimination Round ahead of Sadhana D (140/150) and Tanushree Singha (139/150).
She was trained by former archer and coach N Arun Kumar of Arun Archery Academy, Kompally, Hyderabad.
Joshitha’s achievement has brought recognition to the state of Telangana, Maharishi Vidya Mandir and her coach.
