Jaswanth smashes double ton; Vikranth, Ajith, Hidayath, Karthik, Khaja, Prateek, Sai shine

Jaswanth Kanneboi smashed a double century to set up Nalgonda District’s 241-run win over Oxford Blues in the HCA B Division (one-day) league-cum-knock-out tournament.

Batting first, Nalgonda ran up 371 with Jaswanth doing the major damage with the bat. He struck 21 fours and 17 sixes in his 129-ball 246. In reply, Oxford Blues were bowled out for 130.

Vikranth Reddy

Vikranth Reddy M and D Ajith Raja hit centuries to help Nizamabad District score a 314-run win over Mega City. Batting first, Nizamabad made 402 for six as Vikranth scored 147 off just 95 balls with nine fours and eight sixes, while Ajith made 106 off 60 balls with seven fours and nine sixes. In reply, Mega City were bowled out for 88.

Syed Hidayath Hussain scored a century to set up MP Blues’ 152-run win over Crown.  Batting first, MP Blues made 351 for nine thanks to Syed Hidayath Hussain’s 118 off 114 balls with 11 fours and five sixes. In reply, Crown were bowled out for 199.

K Karthik hit a century and Khaja Mazharuddin took five wickets as Elegant posted a 37-run win over MCC. Elegant posted 303 with Karthik getting 115 off 106 balls with 17 fours and a six and, in reply, MCC could made 266 with Khaja taking five for 48.

M Sai Prateek

M Sai Prateek’s century set up Future Stars’ 122-run win over Hyd Wanderers. Prateek scored an 80-ball 103 with 11 fours and two sixes as Future Stars made 304. In reply, Wanderers made 182 despite M Sai Vishwa scoring 126 off 100 balls with 16 fours and three sixes.

Akshay Kumar took five wickets to set up Zinda Tilismath’s four-wicket win over Deccan Blues.

Harish V took five for eight in 4.4 overs as Deccan Arsenals recorded a 106-run win over Cheerful Chums.

P Rishyanth took six for 43 to set up Warangal District’s five-wicket win over Mahadev.

Daksh Reddy D’s109 off 81 balls with nine fours and five sixes helped Chetan Anand CA score a 87-run win over Classic. Pranay Aheer made 107 off 77 balls with 13 fours and five sixes for Classic.
