Jasvika bags gold, while Anusha settles for silver at 36th Canoe Sprint Jr & Sub-Jr Natl

Telangana’s Jasvika and Anusha stole the thunder at the 36^th Canoe Sprint Junior and Sub-Junior National Championship which was held in Raipur from June 12 to 14.

Jasvika won the told in the 500m canoe singles event. On the other hand, Anusha had to be content with the silver medal in the 500m event.

Telangana sports minister Vakiti Srihari, Telangana government sports advisor AP Jitender Reddy, special chief secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Sports Authority of Telangana chairman Shivsena Reddy, and VC & MD Dr Sonibala Devi congratulated Jasvika and Anusha on their stupendous achievement.

Jasvika and Anusha are undergoing training at the Hussain Sagar Water Sports Training Center under the guidance of Sports Authority of Telangana coach Ramakrishna.
