Jahnavi wins it for DKR, while Komali helps XI Stars edge Telangana Sports School 1-0
Jahnavi Yadav scored the all-important goal as DKR Football Club scored a 1-0 goal against Karimnagar, while P Komali was the hero for XI Stars PKR Football Club against Telangana Sports School in the Under-16 Asmita Football League 2026 at the Tagore Stadium in Mancherial on Tuesday.

In the third match of the Under-16 tournament, which is being held from April 27 to 30, DKR and Karimnagar fought tooth and nail. Jahnavi Yadav’s 21st strike made all the difference in the game as thereafter neither side was able to score.
In the other match of the day, XI Stars made an early start with P Komali finding the target in the 9th minute. XI Stars held on to that slender lead for the next 80 odd minutes to carve out a 1-0 win over Telangana Sports School, who were unable to breach the rival citadel.
