Ch Franklin and B Bala Krishna were unanimously elected as president and secretary of the Hyderabad District Handball Association. Ajith Kumar was elected as treasurer of the new body and R Ranjith Reddy as the chairman.
The Annual General Body Meeting and elections, under the chairmanship of treasurer S Shiva Prakash, of the Hyderabad District Handball Association for the 2026–2030 term were held at Fateh Maidan Club, LB Stadium, Hyderabad, on Thursday.
The members of the General Body congratulated the newly elected office bearers and wished them success in strengthening and promoting handball activities in Hyderabad District.
B Bala Krishna, founder chairman of Bhavans Handball Club, is a well-known figure in the handball fraternity and has played a key role in developing the sport at the grassroots level. Under his leadership, several players from Bhavans Handball Club have gone on to represent at state, national, and international levels.
Following his election, club members and senior players of Bhavans Handball Club congratulated Bala Krishna and expressed confidence that his experience, commitment, and vision would contribute significantly to the growth and development of handball in Hyderabad and Telangana.
The following office-bearers were elected unanimously for the 2026-2030 term:
