Fardeen and Fareed score a brace each as Falaknuma rout Susai 8-0 in C Division football

Fardeen and Fareed Uddin struck a brace each as Falaknuma Football Club thrashed Susai Football Club 8-0 in the Telangana Football Association’s (TFA) C Division Football League 2025–26 at the Gymkhana Football Ground in Secunderabad on Tuesday.

Fardeen was the first word as well as the last word as Falaknuma footballers ran riot at the Gymkhana. Susai defenders had no answer and caved in meekly. Fardeen began the scoring in the 20th minute of the game and Faizan Sultan made it 2-0 in the 26th minute.

Krishna scored the third goal in the 34th minute and the teams went into the break with Falaknuma leading 3-0.

After the break, things got worse for Susai as Falaknuma struck five goals. Fareed Uddin opened his account in the 54th minute and Syed Moinuddin scored in the 66th minute to make it 5-0 in favour of Falaknuma.

Fareed then got his second goal of the game when he booted home the ball in the 70th minute. Md Rehan Khan made it 7-0 in the 75th minute and Fardeen rounded off the tally in the 89th minute.

On Wednesday, Sky Kings FC will lock horns with Dilsukhnagar FC at the Gymkhana Ground in Secunderabad at 3 pm.

Result: Falaknuma FC 8 (Fardeen 20th min, 89th min; Faizan Sulthan 26th min; Krishna 34th min; Fareed Uddin 54th min, 70th min; Syed Moinuddin 66th min, Md Rehan Khan 75th min) beat Susai FC 0.

Alekhya to play for Pune’s Kheda Probandi FC

Telangana’s Kodi Alekhya, who captained DKR FC in the Indian Women’s League (IWL 2), has been selected to represent Kheda Probandi FC, Pune, for the Indian Women’s League (IWL 2) final round. The tournament is scheduled to commence from May 1, 2026.
