DRC Sports Foundation pack off Paddock Pickleball Club to maintain their top position
DRC Sports Foundation Pickleball Club scored a resounding 5-1 win over Paddock Pickleball Club in the HPL at Ready Set Pickleball Arena, Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad.
The win has helped DRC Sports Foundation to maintain their top position in Conference A. SOO Collective are placed at 2nd position and 48 Pickleball Club are at the 3rd spot. Penguins Pickleball Club are at the 4th and Falcons Pickleball Club at the 5th position respectively.

In the first men’s doubles, DRC Kiron and Rajeev Reddy took an early and mammoth lead of 11-1. From the next service change onwards Rohan Panicker and Ashleesh Koganti rallied with consistency and patience to wrest the lead of 12-11. Though Kiron and Rajeev tried their best but they were not able to recover lost ground and went down 14-16 to Rohan and Ashleesh.
In the next five matches, DRC players made a quick recovery and without much sweat and pressure won all the matches to seal the tie 5-1.

In the women’s doubles, Diya Mattipati and Sanjana Sirimalla defeated Shreya Kuruhuri and Nikhitha Cheetirala 15-10. Sanjana Sirimalla later returned to the court as she thrashed Shreya Kuruhuri 15-2.
In the men’s singles, ND Vijay Anand scored a thumping 15-6 win over Mohammed Amaan and the second doubles pair of K Manoj Kumar Reddy and Mahesh Reddy brooked no challenge against Haneesh Sai Kolli as they romped to a 15-4 win.
K Manoj Kumar Reddy returned to partner Diya Mattipati as they cruised to a 15-7 win over Rohan Panicker and Nikhitha Cheetirala to complete the rout.
DRC Sports Foundation will play their last league match on May 15 against TRP Pickleball Club at The Rooftop Pickleball Arena, next to KLK Business Center, opp LB Stadium, Saifabad, Hyderabad.
