Birla Blazers sailed past Secunderabad Stallions 32-15 on the 2nd day of the Sub-Junior & Youth League 2026 for Boys & Girls conducted by The Hyderabad District Basketball Association at the YMCA Secunderabad on Thursday. Birla Blazers led 14-5 at half-time.
Playing their first match in the tournament, Birla Blazers started slowly with Pranavi and Amrutha playing in tandem to score 5 points and with tight defense did not allow Secunderabad Stallions to score any points. Birla Blazers led 5-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Birla Blazers found their bearings in the 2nd quarter with Dishi scoring through fast breaks. However, Secunderabad Stallions opened their account through Adhya as Birla Blazers led 14-5 at half-time.
After the lemon break, Secunderabad Stallions tightened their defense and restricted the scoring of Birla Blazers. Nakshatra found her rhythm scoring 4 consecutive points and midway through the 3rd quarter bridged the gap to just 6 points as Blazers led 17-11. But Vaishnavi and Tanvi scored a basket apiece with both teams scoring 8 points apiece and Birla Blazers led 22-13 at end of the 3rd quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Secunderabad Stallions were restricted to just 2 points while Pranavi scored 8 consecutive points to win the match for Birla Blazers comfortably.
Result: Birla Blazers 32 (Pranavi 11, Dishi 8, Amrutha 5) beat Secunderabad Stallions 15 (Nakshatra 9, Adhya Reddy 4) Half Time: 14-5.
