Amthrajith finds the winner in the 90th minute to send Reeds FC into TFA’s C Division final

Amthrajith C stuck in the dying moments of the game to help Reeds Football Club score a narrow 2-1 win over Falaknuma Football Club in the first semifinal of the Telangana Football Association’s C Division Football League 2025-26 at the Sreenidhi Deccan Arena in Aziznagar, Hyderabad, on Friday.

In a keenly fought semifinal, both teams put up their best foot forward, but it was Falaknuma who scored the first goal. Santu Pati found the target in the 35^th minute to put his side 1-0 up. The teams went into the break with the same score.

In the second half, Reeds pressed on for the equalizer, but it did not come forth till the 70^th minute of play. Adi Keshav Reddy scored to help Reeds draw parity. With the first mission accomplished, Reeds pressed on for the winner even as Falaknuma tried to get ahead.

However, Amthrajith C found the elusive goal in the 90^th minute to send Reeds into the final and Falaknuma into a pall of gloom.

Sameer of Reeds FC was given the Red Card, while Falaknuma’s Santu Pati and Fardeen earned the same from the referee.

The second semifinal will be played between Sky Kings Football Club and OK Sporting Football Club at the Sreenidhi Deccan Arena in Hyderabad at 3 pm on Saturday.

Result (semifinal): Reeds FC 2 (Adi Keshav Reddy 70^th min, Amthrajith C 90^th min) beat Falaknuma FC 1 (Santu Pati 35^th min).
