Akshaj Goudi and Abhinav bowled St Andrews High School (Bowenpally) to a comfortable 51-run win over Khammam District-1 in a low-scoring game of the HCA’s Under-16 inter-school and college knock-out tournament in Hyderabad.
Batting first, St Andrews made a modest 129 as the Khammam bowlers kept them on a tight leash. However, Khammam too were unable to make good the opportunity and fell for 78 as Akshaj took five for 22 and Abhinav bagged 4 for 29.

Bengal score seven-wicket win over Hyderabad
Hyderabad Under-23 crashed to a seven-wicket loss to Bengal Under-23 in their T20 match.
Batting first, Hyderabad were restricted to 127 for nine with Alankrit Rapole scoring 42. In reply, Bengal made 228 for three with Sanjay Balmiki making 45 and Salman Ahmed getting 44.

Paarth Soni’s all-round show went in vain as Hyderabad Public School (Ramanthapur) lost to Hyderabad Public School (Begumpet) by 51 runs in the C Division (one-day) league.
Batting first, HPS (Begumpet) made 233 with Srivats Viswanath scoring 69. Paarth took three for 34 and M Srikar Avaneesh claiming three for 35.
In reply, HPS (Ramanthapur) were bowled out for 182 despite Paarth making 56. Tanay Bhandari took four for 39 for the winners.
In another match, Abhishek Madhav took four for 20 to bowl Kishoresons to a 105-run win over PPMCC. C Aryan took four for 28 for PPMCC.
