Aditya Das, Druvanth Reddy and Hare Krishna hit centuries and Deepak Kumawat grabbed seven wickets as Academic Heights (Badangpet) thrashed St Peter’s Model School by 447 runs in the HCA’s Under-16 Inter-school and College knock-out tournament in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Druvanth Reddy
Batting first, Academic Heights ran up 480 for two as Aditya Das got 163 off 87 balls with 32 fours and Hare Krishna struck a 77-ball 152 with 23 fours and two sixes. Druvanth Reddy remained unbeaten on 101 off 123 balls with six fours.
Hare Krishna
In reply, St Peter’s Model School were skittled out for 33 as Deepak Kumawat grabbed seven for seven in three overs.
Aneesh Karthik, G Riteesh Reddy and V Anirudh Naik scored centuries to set up Medjee Junior College’s (Secunderabad) 204-run win over Gowtham Model School (Chandanagar).
Medjee ran up 397 for four as Aneesh Karthik scored 107 off 83 balls with 12 fours and three sixes, while G Riteesh Reddy struck 111 off 102 balls with 14 fours and V Anirudh Naik remained unbeaten on 105 off 55 balls with 15 fours and three sixes. In reply, Gowtham Model School made 193 for nine.

Ch Anirudh and D Karthikeya hit centuries to set up Nizamabad District-1’s 237-run win over Nizamabad District-2.
Amaan Firoz Khan
Ch Anirudh made 150 off 128 balls with 17 fours and Karthikeya scored 111 off 142 balls with 12 fours as Nizamabad District-1 ran up 308 for three. In reply, Nizamabad District-2 were bowled out for 71.
Bhadri Amarnadh Reddy scored a century to help Pallavi Model School (Alwal) post a 317-run win over St Andrews School (Keesara). Amarnadh made 138 off 105 balls with 15 fours and a six as Pallavi posted 396 on the board. In reply, St Andrews were bowled out for 79.
Utkarsh Bhave hit a century to set up Bhavans SA Junior College’s (Sainikpuri) 61-run win over Hyderabad Public School (Begumpet). Bhave scored 170 off 150 balls with 18 fours and five sixes as Bhavans scored 306 for seven. In reply, HPS were bowled out for 245 despite Ruhaan Verma scoring 97.

On the bowling front, Ritesh Raj (6/21), Arush (6/25), Parthiv Chandra (6/28), Amaan Firoz Khan (6/29), P Rohit (5/6), Komaragoni Rithik Goud (5/18), G Rakesh Sekhar (5/24), Utkarsh (5/29), Balaji Sai Sriram (5/31) and G Neeraj Sai (5/53) did well.
