Adhira Chetan of HVS and Vihaan Mudumbai of ITTA bagged the honours in the Telangana State Ranking Table Tennis Under-13 League Championship 2026 at the Shree Gujarati Seva Mandal (GSM) in Secunderabad.
Adhira Chetan finished on top of the Under-13 girls’ final league round to claim the title. Adhira was followed by Yashashree Sil of SGUTTA and M Maayra of SPARS. Akshara Hamsini Reddy finished fourth.
In the boys’ category, Vihaan Mudumbai came on top by keeping a clean slate. Haneesh Amara of SPHS and Jatin Jairam G of SGUTTA were second and third respectively, while Sambhav Tiwari of SPARS finished last in the league round.
Adhira Chetan defeated M Maayra 3-0 in her first game but had to struggle to beat Akshara Hamsini Reddy. Akshara took the first game at 11-8 but Adhira struck back to take the next two games at 11-9, 11-8. However, Akshara fought back valiantly to win the fourth game 11-7 and take the tie into the decider. Adhira kept her composure and eked out a 11-6 win to win the match.
But Adhira failed to keep a clean slate as she went down to Yashashree Sil in another thrilling contest. Yashashree began well and caught Adhira on the wrong foot. Yashashree raced to a 115, 11-4 win to go 2-0 up but Adhira fought back in an exciting third game and took it 16-14. Carrying on the momentum, Adhira won the fourth game too at 11-8. However, Yashashree took the final one 11-3.
Yashashree then defeated M Maayra in another thrilling encounter at 3-2. Maayra began well by taking the first game at 11-8 but Yashashree struck back to win the second one at 11-7. However, Maayra won the third game to go 2-1 up but Yashashree then won the next two games to clinch the tie.
Yashashree’s hopes of finishing on top were dashed by Akshara Hamsini Reddy, who pulled off a comprehensive 3-0 win. Akshara brooked no challenge as she cruised to a 11-7, 4-12, 12-10 win.
However, Akshara Hamsini Reddy’s loss to M Maayra prevented her from finished third. Maayra won 3-0 to bag the third spot ahead of Akshara.

In the boys’ category, Vihaan kept a clean slate as he defeated Haneesh Amara 3-1 and then got thrashed Sambhav Tiwari 3-0 and meted out the same treatment to Jatin Jairam G.
Haneesh Amara defeated Sambhav Tiwari and Jatin Jairam G with the same margin of 3-0 to finish second. Jatin Jairam G defeated Sambhav Tiwari 3-1 to end up third.
TSTTA secretary Nagender Reddy gave away the prizes.
